What makes me smile

This is a game where you just post whatever you think of that would bring a smile to your face. It can be one word or a whole story about whatever makes you smile. I'll start:

Listening to my kids giggle.

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings

Right now what would make me smile is to see the sun shine and for the ground to dry up.
My dogs playing in the yard.
My rescue puppy play bowing at the cats trying to get them to play.
Chief coming up to me with his ears pinned asking for treats.

This time of year, it's the babies being born that make me smile. Watching a new calf racing around with his tail in the air always gives me a chuckle.

Just watching the horses race around the pasture snorting and acting silly. That's just amazing to me.
I also love to watch and hear a fighter jet go over my head,
And I like the sound of the freight train when it echos of the bluff wall down at the river. The air and the ground rumble.
